As a Freedom Journey Facilitator, you are a skilled people helper with an empathetic nature. You have a honed ability to identify and critically assess factors that can hinder or promote a participant’s freedom journey such as a participant’s learning style, barriers to learning, support needs, and traumas. You are emotionally intelligent, resilient, and passionate about helping others facing difficult circumstances, and provide personalised support to the men and women engaging with the Freedom Journey.
Your thorough knowledge of discipleship, trauma-informed ministry, and your partnership with the Holy Spirit allow you to guide participants through each module, helping them encounter lasting healing through their deepening relationship with God.
Please note: This position carries an Occupational Requirement (OR) on the grounds of religion and belief and where we recruit for more than one individual, may also carry an OR on the grounds of gender, in keeping with current guidance. Candidates must be able to demonstrate a Christian belief and value system, in line with Mercy UK’s statement of faith, ethical framework and core competency statement. Successful candidates who go on to carry a majoritively female caseload of participants must also be female.
